Tourism Management
This program, founded in 2000, has been delivered for more than two decades and become a demonstrative and leading branded program in China. In 2008, this program was listed as a demonstrative key program of higher vocational colleges in the country; in 2010, this program was approved by the Ministry of Finance as one of the six batches of characteristic program construction strongpoint; in 2014, the program undertook the teacher team building project for travel agency management of higher vocational colleges commissioned by Shanghai Municipal Education Commission. In 2017, the program was approved as a national demonstrative base for school-company cooperation on tourism vocational education. In recent years, the program has been intensifying teaching research and practice, with the first prize of Shanghai teaching achievements award won for an exploratory program of teaching reform for tourism management program based on three-dimensional practice teaching model in 2017. Currently, this program offers 3 awarded courses at the city level, one key course designated by Shanghai Municipal Education Commission and 2 state-level planned textbooks. Since 2022, the tourism management program has been ranked first among its peers nationwide.
Main courses: Introduction to tourism, tourism psychology, operation and management of travel agencies, tourism marketing, tourism English, tourism literature, travel agency planning and allocation, tour guiding, basic knowledge of tour guiding, tourism professional accomplishment, tourism policies and regulations, customer relationship management, tourism e-commerce, selling techniques, onsite tour guiding, etc.
Employment orientations: Administrative authorities in charge of tourism at all levels, and tourism companies at all levels (international travel agency, tourist attractions, and online tour operators), etc.
Leisure Service and Management (oriented towards golf and Disney talent reserve)
Established in 2015, this program is one of the most promising programs offered by the School. Centered on leisure golfing sport and enabled by theme park and camp education, this program aims at cultivating service professionals with a strong awareness of leisure, healthy, scientific and rational lifestyle ideas and considerable managerial potential in leisure sport, theme park and camping. This program is equipped with physical facilities on campus such as leisure hands-on training center, golf practice course and indoor golf simulator, in addition to on-campus referee and other certification exam sites licensed by USGTF, European Golf Teachers Federation and China Golf Association; since 2021, Disney talent reserve class has been established to cultivate theme park management professionals through combination of specialized courses and corporate ones.

Tourism e-commerce
Established in 2000, this program has been delivered for more than 20 years, aiming at fostering highly competent, interdisciplinary skilled professionals who are faithfully committed, fully fledged in all aspects, scientifically and culturally literate, professionally ethical, innovation-minded, with craftsmanship of continuous improvement, strong employability and sustainable development potential, proficient in e-commerce knowledge and technical skills, knowledgeable, competent and accomplished, and capable to engage in digital operation, online store operation, community operation, tourism industry operation, online marketing event planning and execution, customer service management, visual design, e-commerce live streaming, internet and e-commerce product development for internet and related service jobs in the tourism e-commerce industry.

All-media Advertising Planning and Marketing
The program of all-media advertising planning and marketing focuses on fostering highly competent skilled professionals who are fully fledged in all aspects, adept at scientific and cultural basics and marketing and media communication, capable of all-media advertisement planning, making, operation and promotion, craftsmanship-minded and information-literate, and able to engage in jobs like ad planning, picture and audio/video making, new media editing, data acquisition and analysis, and all-media operation and promotion. Since its inception, this program has been actively exploring new forms of business such as cultural tourism short video making and live streaming by relying on the characteristics of tourism industry and fitting into the national movement of cultural and tourism industries going digital. As a result, many specialized campaigns and events influential in the industry have been carried out, thus expanding the channels for talent cultivation that features industry-education integration, and offering students broad opportunities of practice.
Main courses: basics of photography, graphic and image design, advertising laws and regulations, advertising practice, marketing, consumer psychology and behavior, new media marketing and communication, advertising planning and creativity, advertising script writing, short video creativity and making, commercials creativity and making, new media marketing, new media data analysis and application, new media platform operation and promotion, etc.

Customized Travel Service and Management
The program of customized travel management and service is a new program established in 2022 to foster “customized travel planner” much needed for new forms of tourism business. Through cooperation with Ctrip, a leading player in China’s tourism industry, this program develops job standards, textbooks and courses for customized travel, all designed to realize a training model of school-company cooperation typified by “job engagement, standards integration and certificated buildup”, where academically qualified students will receive certificate of travel customizer issued jointly by the School and the company, in response to the pressing demand for occupational capabilities of “customized travel product planning, local tour guiding experience and new media marketing” in the new tourism industry.
Main courses: customized travel resource development, customized travel product planning, customer communication and management, customized travel stewardship practice, customized travel data analysis and application, service quality control of customized travel, visual design of customized solutions, customized travel project planning and operation.
Employment orientations: customized travel department or events and incentive travel department of international travel agencies, tourist attractions, online tour operators, hotels and events companies.
Smart Tourism Technology Application
In the context of the digital China strategy and digital transformation, the program of smart tourism technology application aims at fostering interdisciplinary, innovation-driven skilled professionals who have the professional knowledge background of tourism, marketing and IT, meet the evolving requirements of internet industry especially mobile internet industry, focus on the application of smart tourism technology in the tourism industry, are proficient in tool use, content generation, media management and e-commerce for smart tourism technology, and capable to engage in smart tourism information system operation in various tourism businesses and dotcom companies.
Main courses: the curriculum comprises basic courses, core courses and extended courses, including introduction to smart tourism technology, basics of business data analysis, smart tourism operation practice, principles and application of database, new media operation for tourism, big data application for tourism, smart scenic spot design and operation and maintenance, travel product planning and customization, advanced mathematics, introduction to economics, travel agency management, programming language, computer network application technology, communication skills, tourism psychology, tourism geography, financial management and project management of tourism companies, etc.
