SIT Wins the First Prize in Smart Cultural and Tourism Product Design and Marketing Skills Event (Vocational College Group) at the 2025 “Belt and Road” and BRICS Competition of Skills Development and Technology Innovation

On November 13, in the national grand finals of the Smart Cultural and Tourism Product Design and Marketing Skills Event (Vocational College Group) of the 2025 “Belt and Road” and BRICS Competition of Skills Development and Technology Innovation, students Liu Xinrui, Xu Ruolin, Yue Lingshu and Zhong Anqi from the School of Tourism and Leisure Management of SIT stood out from numerous participating teams and won the first prize with their solid professional knowledge and outstanding team collaboration ability and innovative thinking, under the thoughtful guidance of teachers Liu Tang and Yuan Ding.

This competition gathered over 300 skilled elites of 81 teams from different countries and regions to compete around creative design, digital marketing, scenario application and other core steps of smart cultural and tourism products, providing vocational college students with an international platform for showing their professional skills and innovation ability. The SIT team actively prepared for the competition, deeply researched cutting-edge knowledge and techniques of smart cultural and tourism product design and marketing, and meticulously prepared their entries. During the competition, they remained calm and composed, and won high recognition of judges with their unique creative ideas, exquisite design and precise marketing strategies. Winning the award represents recognition of SIT students’ professional attainments and practical ability, as SIT always highly values cultivating the practical ability and innovative spirit of students and provides its students a broad platform for practice and space for development by conducting various professional competitions and practice teaching activities.
